WHAT IS THE PROJECT CLEAN DRINKING WATER BY FSSAI
In modern day scenario, packaged drinking water/ mineral water has become the mainstay for access to safe drinking water and is an emerging lifestyle requirement too. Also, consumers do not just need water to survive but also require safe and clean drinking water for the right metabolism and for the proper absorption of nutrients in the body. Project Safe Drinking Water, an FSSAI programme, addresses the requirement for consumers to have access to safe drinking water in order to live a healthy lifestyle. As a result, the FSSAI has launched this programme to allow consumers to verify that the bottled drinking water/beverage they buy is safe and of excellent quality. Consumers may now verify the physical, chemical, and microbiological safety of packaged drinking water / mineral water using a system devised by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
In this way, the FSSAI's Project Clean Drinking Water ensures that customers have increased access to information about the manufacture and processing of packaged drinking water and mineral water. This effort has been dubbed a "confidence-building exercise" since it attempts to give consumers the right to know if the bottled water they bought is free of toxins and of good quality. The FSSAI's mission is to empower customers to make educated decisions about the water they drink. The logo for Project Safe Drinking Water features the statement "Safe Drinking Water for Healthy Living." The idea behind the LOGO is that it represents the Apex Regulator's vow to endeavour to ensure the purity of drinking water. It is a guarantee of water purity and a guarantee that the water is safe to drink because it has been thoroughly examined. The "Safe Drinking Water for Healthy Living" logo is designed so that the encircling of the fingers represents complete water purity, the translucent blue colour inside represents cleanliness (free of toxins and contaminants), and the serenity of each drop represents that each drop of water is safe for mass consumption.
